veronica mars, back from the dead

Truth be told, I was a big fan of Veronica Mars. And although it ultimately was not picked up for a forth season, a pilot for Veronica Mars 'in the FBI' was filmed. If CW allowed, the VM universe was set to jump forward a few years in time (season 3 was freshman year of college), in attempt to re-imagine [save] the series. The 12-minute pilot, which has found its way to YouTube, is bittersweet. On the one hand, it's great to see Veronica Mars back in action -- but knowing that this is presumably the last we'll ever see of our favorite pint-sized, spunky, blonde sleuth is heartbreaking.
