Dogma 2???
Posted on Tuesday, November 29, 2005
First Clerks 2, and now a possible Dogma 2? While I have serious reservations about a second Clerks movie, a second Dogma movie seems slightly more plausible. Check out what Kevin Smith has to say about the subject on his View Askew message board.
"Ever since 9/11, I have been thinking about a sequel of sorts. I mean, the worst terrorist attack on American soil was religiously bent. In the wake of said attack, the leader of the "Free World" outed himself as pretty damned Christian. In the last election, rather than a quagmire war abroad, the big issue was whether or not gay marriage was moral."
One problem I'm seeing with his ideas for a new movie... "the Last Scion would be at the epicenter of it. And she'd have to be played by Alanis." This poses a problem... Would the new movie take place 25-30 years into the future? We left the Dogma story with Bethany and her immaculately impregnated belly. If Alanis will play the Last Scion, we have a pretty big time conflict.
"Scary thing is this: the film would have to touch on Islam. And unlike the Cathloic League, when those cats don't like what you do, they issue a death warrant on yer ass (see Rushdie)."

busted!
Posted on Sunday, November 27, 2005
I was innocently googling myself today and I found something interesting. Apparently someone with the same name was busted for "urinating in public, fighting, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct" on Sunday, June 12th, 2005, in Whitefish, Montana. My doppleganger is listed on page 3 of the Whitefish Free Press.

Guess what? I'm finished ... well, sort of. The redesign is complete for the most part. I'm still trying to figure out why the "comments" option appears as a different font and font size in the Firefox browser. But, the comments are there, the archive is working properly (i decided to delete some of the old photos, so they may be missing from archived entries). I also set up my Some Crazy Shop -- so all the people that don't come to this site can buy all sorts of merchandise with the Some Crazy Garbage.com logo. It's also an example of how easy it is to set up a Cafe Press site. Mine took about 20 minutes to set up, so get in there! Make some money for yourself!
Today I'm driving Jen and Penny back to NYC after a Thanksgiving in Flemington, NJ.
Does anyone want to buy me a gift pro account to Flickr? Please?

Welcome to the redesign. It's still a work in progress, so check back in a day or so and I should be done with it. I'm further along than yesterday, but you still cannot leave comments and the archives don't exactly work right... Hopefully I'll have it working properly by the end of this weekend. Hope everyone had a great (meat-free) Thanksgiving!
