in a little more than a month...

Here's everything you need to know about lost in 8 minutes and 15 seconds. It's a great recap for the fans... though I wonder if it moves a little too quickly for a newbie. The video is a rapid succession of clips narrated by a fast-talking woman. I especially enjoy her quick bits of humor -- Mr. Friendly throws like a girl! I am mystified by the numeral 'six' that appears before the jack-in-the-future clips; I'm sure it's a hint at something to come!

futurama marathon!
Posted on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 Starting tonight at 11:00 PM, and continuing until 11:30 PM on the last day of the year, there will be nothing on the schedule but Fry, Leela, Bender, and the rest of the team from Planet Express. On December 31st Adult Swim will air the show's first episode, 'Space Pilot 3000' and the last episode, 'The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings' (great episode, by the way) at 11:00 pm and 11:30 pm respectively. This is all in preparation of Futurama moving from Adult Swim to Comedy Central starting on January 1st.
Meet Sardi! With all she's been through, it's something of a wonder that Sardi has survived. Unfortunately, she was subject to a good deal of neglect earlier in her life. That resulted in a ruptured left eye that we had to remove when she came to us. Her ear on the left side is also a bit bent. Probably due to the neglect in her past, Sardi can be uncertain in temperament. She's usually a friendly, happy, purr-box, but on occasion will suddenly turn and nip, and she can nip hard. Because of this, she should go to a home without small children.
We estimate Sardi's age at about ten. She has a funny black-tipped nose, a black tail, and large patches of black on the rest of her coat, except for two small patches on her head and a mostly white face. She's a bit on the chunky side. Sardi may have food allergies, but she hasn't yet been in our suites for long enough for us to be certain of this.
We're hoping for a happy ending to Sardi's story, something that can best be achieved by her adoption into a truly loving home. Can you help?
Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- New Jersey's Legislature became the first in the U.S. to repeal the death penalty, approving legislation that Governor Jon Corzine said he will sign.
A measure to replace the death penalty with a sentence of life in prison without parole passed the 80-member Assembly today in a 44-36 vote. Earlier this week, the legislation cleared the state's 40-member Senate by 21-16.
New Jersey's move may be a catalyst for other states to end capital punishment, opponents of executions said. Nationwide, executions have been virtually halted as the U.S. Supreme Court considers whether death by lethal injection violates constitutional prohibitions against cruel and unusual punishment. lost returns...

I suggest watching it over and over and rapidly hitting the pause button. Then you can pause on the weird images in the quick montage... revealing (among other things) a pile of pears, the number 6, and a quick flash of ... wait for it ... CHARLIE!
